The spring-loaded gate lever latch creates a smoother, easier gate release, which allows the gate man a quicker and cleaner opening. When determining right-hand or left-hand delivery, the animal’s head will always be on the hinge end of the chute with the gate being on the side the animal will buck out. (Chute shown is a right-hand exit chute.)
