Tarter American Roping Chute

Tarter’s American Roping Chute is a reliable, manual roping chute uniquely designed to improve your skills by providing consistent practice runs. Our unique design starts with an angled headgate. This feature creates an environment that increases visibility and keeps the steer’s head up and the focus down the arena. Contoured side panels keep steers standing true in the chute by deterring them from turning around or kicking their feet out, providing a safe confinement space for the animal and operator. Another valuable feature is the tailgate’s sliding sleeve collar. The sleeve slides up and locks into place when the tailgate is opened, then locks down when the tailgate is closed so that no cattle can push through.

The perfect run is truly within reach with the Tarter American Roping Chute. Other features include an internal spring system and an adjustable rubber stop system for quiet headgate operation. The pin system on the backside of the chute has connectors that attach directly to our lead-up alleys. You can also retrofit the chute if you are using chains or other connection points.
